Tired of being in the back kitchen all the time? Always wanted to be “on the road” in the mobile food truck business? Shenkman Hospitality Group, the highly successful independent restaurant group behind Sam’s Chowder House and Osteria Coppa, is seeking driver/cashiers and cooks for our growing fleet of Sam’s ChowderMobile gourmet food trucks. If you can do both, that’s even better!
We are passionate about providing artisanal, high quality food served from our mobile trucks all over the Bay Area – as far north as Napa, and as far south as Monterey. Your responsibilities may include helping to load up the truck prior to a route or event, drive to the event, and serve/cashier and/or cook on the truck. Our trucks go to all kinds of exciting places, from lunch and dinner routes at cool internet start-up companies, to outdoor Lobster Clambakes at large corporations, to private events ranging from the personal home of prominent CEO’s to weddings in Napa, holiday events, block parties, and children’s birthday parties. We also go to community events and locations, from Golden Gate Park on weekends, to street fairs and mobile truck events.
If you are a cook looking for a little “on the road” excitement, or if you can drive a truck and have cashier experience, this is the perfect spot for you! We are looking for professional, enthusiastic, customer-oriented and reliable team members, who want to grow with us. We have part-time and full-time positions available.
